LATEST NEWS - 03rd June 2010

Scouser has written a superb set of articles on the E-Zine, I hope you will all support this and maybe we can get a few more of you writing articles for the club in the future. Don't forget we need your pictures too, so send them in. Pete, our newbie member who joined at the BMF riding on a ZZR1400 has written an article after his first club ride out, so no excuses for you old hands not to write an article or two.

The next main tour is likely to be the Lakes in August, this is already full for accommodation, but if you want to go, we will do what we can to find you somewhere to stay, Ireland will probably be a non starter due to lack of support. We are more than willing to arrange tours, but if you do express an interest, then we will not proceed with arranging the tour.

Don't forget the Spain/Pyrenees tour 2010. Planning is currently on hold for this tour but is likely to see a sailing from Portsmouth to Santander, sailing out on Thursday  02nd September at 11:15am, with a return sailing on Monday 13th September, arriving back at Portsmouth 17:00 on 14th. Sailing is 24 hours each way and will cost approx £350 for the ferry, but this includes a bed in a two berth cabin in each direction, so two nights accommodation is already paid. Anyone wishing to go on this tour needs to contact me by 30th June. If there are still no takers, then it might turn into a mini Europe tour, taking in the Swiss Alps & Black Forest over 6 to 7 days. Let me know.

Finally, we have had some very successful tours already this year in Devon, Wales and Scotland, and a very well supported first BMF show at Peterborough. We need volunteers to help out at Kelso in July (10th/11th), without support from the members, this is likely to be cancelled, the logistics of getting all of the kit up to Kelso to display if nobody turns up to support us, would be a waste of time. Please let us know if you'd like to attend as soon as possible.
